The Chingford Directory magazine

Welcome....

to The Chingford Directory, your local community magazine and business directory.
We have (hopefully) one of the warmest months of the year to look forward too, with long days, outdoor events, free concerts in many of the larger parks and summer holidays on the way.

Dates for your diary to note are:
Wednesday 30th June -Sunday 4th July - The Henley Royal Regatta takes place on the River Thames at Henley in Oxfordshire. See www.hrr.co.uk.
Tuesday 6th July - Sunday 11th July - Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Hampton Court. The world's largest annual garden and flower show is organised by the Royal Horticultural Society. Members can visit on Tuesday and Wednesday; anyone can visit on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Plants can be bought on any day (you can leave them in the plant creche and collect them when you leave). See: www.rhs.org.uk/hamptoncourt.
Sunday 11th July - World Cup Football, South Africa. The World Cup Final. Kick-off is at 7:30pm.
Friday 16th July - Sunday 18th July - Shoreditch Festival, London. Festival in Shoreditch Park (nearest Tube: Old Street or Liverpool Street. See: www.shoreditchfestival.org.uk

If you are not going away in July, spending time in the garden can be just as therapeutic and relaxing.

Thanks for your continuing support and making Chingford a fantastic place to live and work!
